Hollingsworth Project

CRJA-IBI was selected as one of 6 national landscape architecture firms to compete for the Hollingsworth Park commission. CRJA asked Mike to participate on their team in a charette to help cast a new vision for this underutilized, but well situated, pieces of property along the Clinch River in Clinton, Tennessee. The program was ambitious and wanted to leverage the natural assets of the land, water and views to and from the site to attract, not just the citizens of Clinton, but visitors to want to explore, learn, exercise and relax on the site. The final solution proposed multi-use trails for bikes and people, a performance cove, an exploration village, Promise Grove area with cabins, an area for events and monument.
